Your order will be shipped within 4 business days of ordering via Australia Post or our preferred courier. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped. Please ensure your address details are correct upon ordering as this will incur an additional shipping fee of $15.00 if your order needs to be re-sent. This includes incorrect address or if your parcel is not collected from the post office in the allocated time and is sent back. Please refer to the Australia Post Website for shipping times to your location, as this will vary - all items are shipped from Brisbane.
Returns
If you are unhappy with your items please contact us directly to discuss a return. Any items returned for a refund must be shipped back to For My Planties with appropriate packaging to ensure the item/s do not break in transit back to us. Refunds will not be provided for any items returned used or damaged. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance on your return parcel just incase of breakages in transit.
Care instructions
For My Planties pieces are suitable for indoors and outdoors. Each one is delicately made by hand, so handle with care. Carry your vase or pot by using two hands around the base. Do not carry your piece by the rim. To clean, simply use a damp cloth and please, do not put your pieces in the dishwasher.
What is a cover pot?
A cover pot is decorative pot designed to be used in conjunction with a nursery or grower’s pot (you know, those black pots that plants come in direct from the nursery). You put your plantie in the grower’s pot, then the plantie/pot combo into the cover pot. This allows your plantie to breathe and water to flow when you water your plantie. The water is caught in the bottom of the cover pot as there is no drainage hole. A cover pot hides the less visually pleasing nursery pot and eliminates the need for a saucer.
How are For My Planties products made?
For My Planties products are created with a combination of Australian and imported materials using a method known as ‘slip casting’. Each piece is made to specified sizing and then carved and refined by hand before being fired in a solar powered kiln. Each piece is then individually hand glazed and fired a second time. All pieces are tested to ensure they are completely water-tight.
What are "seconds"?
Seconds are our imperfect pots or vases - pieces that along the way have small imperfections either in the glaze or the shape of the item. For products labelled "seconds", please read the product description and review the photos carefully, as these will detail the specific imperfections of the piece. Some are minor and not visible to the naked eye, and some are more obvious, however despite these imperfections, this pot is completely smooth on the outside and water tight.
